The product provides secure password management for computers in disconnected and non-domain environments, for example, laptops which are not a members of domain.

Most organizations typically restrict administrative access to their computers and users don' t know local Administrator password for security reasons. When local account becomes locked, only computer administrator can login and resolve the issue. But when users travel, visit customers or do other out of office activities with their laptops, nobody can help them except for giving privileged access to system ( e. g. saying local admin password by phone ). With Desktop Password Reset, users can securely resolve password issues on their computers without any help from system administrator or IT helpdesk.
